I have always tried to take the high road. I try not to lower myself to fight with others or respond to others who criticize or name call. It is very difficult at times and I recently failed. Within the past five months I became angry and posted two videos criticizing a former business partner of mine who has made life difficult for me the past number of years.
A remarkably mature 21 year old man named Alex reminded me of this in a poignant way. Alex and I met in a business context this past week whereby he was helping me with a problem I was having. After a few days of working with me, Alex watched those videos on his own time and then told me that he felt they sullied me and that I was better than that. Out of the mouths of babes...needless to say, deletion is on my list for today.
Hereon in, I plan to return to the high road...the view is better...much better!
